APRIL MAGUIRE

April joined Shaheen, Pallone & Associates, P.C. in July of 2023.  She has over twenty years of experience in public accounting as well as twenty years of experience in the private sector.  April’s private sector experience includes working for companies in wholesale, online retail, the restaurant industry, federal government contractors, non profit agencies, computer software companies, and various service industries in a variety of accounting roles including Chief Financial Officer and Controller.  She has experience in all aspects of accounting, finance, human resources and tax.  April works on both compilations and reviews as well as tax returns.

April’s career began at the Hartford office of Ernst & Young, as an audit associate, and she has spent over forty years in various roles with both public and private firms.

April received a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut.

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking with her dog, boating, and traveling.
